Immigration Officers in the Czech Republic

Life of the Roma in the Czech Republic

In March 2009 we interpreted for Canadian immigration officers who came to the Czech Republic to survey the Roma issue. During their fact-finding mission they met representatives of three Ministries, the Ombudsman, representatives of the Police of the Czech Republic and non-governmental organizations concerned with this topic. A public monitoring report was drawn up on the basis of the facts gathered in the Czech Republic.

Journalists on Expedition

Energy Policy in Real Life

In September 2010 we accompanied a group of Czech and German journalists who set off on a study journey in Northern Bohemia and German Saxony in order to experience the energy policy of both countries in real life. A panel discussion was organized at which Mirek Topolánek, who was then running for the post of head of the International Energy Agency, gave his speech. The former Czech Prime Minister presented his vision statements, outlined possible future developments in the field of energy and answered questions put by journalists. We interpreted simultaneously and consecutively during the whole study journey and discussion.

Small Water Plants

Seminar on Renewables and Small Water Plants

In January 2011 we provided Czech-English simultaneous interpreting and complete interpretation equipment for about 40 participants in the seminar "Renewables and Small Water Plants". The organizing energy agency Energetická agentura Vysočiny, z.s.p.o. invited distinguished speakers from abroad to deliver inspiring papers, to outline possible developments in the Czech Republic and to share their experience with Czech businessmen and civil servants.

Norway and its attitude to the EU and NATO

Discussion with the Norwegian Ambassador

On 24 April 2007 we simultaneously interpreted the Czech-English public discussion about "Norway and its attitude to the EU and NATO". The Norwegian Ambassador Peter Reader and prof. Potůček from the Charles University accepted invitation as speakers. The debate was organized by the Scandinavian House.
