In September 2010 we accompanied a group of Czech and German journalists who set off on a study journey in Northern Bohemia and German Saxony in order to experience the energy policy of both countries in real life. A panel discussion was organized at which Mirek Topolánek, who was then running for the post of head of the International Energy Agency, gave his speech. The former Czech Prime Minister presented his vision statements, outlined possible future developments in the field of energy and answered questions put by journalists. We interpreted simultaneously and consecutively during the whole study journey and discussion.
